A geofenced time clock that proves guards were on site

Guards start duty and breaks from the app only when they are inside the site's geofence, and a clock-out away from the site is flagged. Timesheets build themselves, ready for payroll and client billing.

How do you prove a security guard was on site?

Use a geofenced time clock. Each site has a boundary on a map, and the guard app only lets a guard clock in or take a break inside it. ForceVera records the time and location of each action, alerts you when a guard leaves the site, goes idle or clocks out off site, and turns the records into timesheets.

Why it matters

Geofenced time clock: what your security company gets

No more buddy punching

Clock-ins only work inside the site's geofence, from the guard's own app.

Problems surface in real time

Alerts tell you when a guard leaves the site, stops moving on duty or clocks out away from the site.

Payroll-ready timesheets

Hours, breaks and pay rates add up automatically and export to CSV or Excel.

How it works

Geofenced time clock in ForceVera: how it works

  1. Draw the geofence

Set the boundary for each site on the map.

  2. Guards clock in on site

The app checks the guard's location and PIN before duty starts, checks the location again for breaks, and flags a clock-out made away from the site.

  3. Monitor live

See who is on duty now, with alerts for leaving the geofence or going idle.

  4. Approve and export

Review time entries, approve hours, and export for payroll or turn them into client invoices.

FAQ

Geofenced time clock: questions, answered

What is a geofenced time clock?

It is a time clock that only works inside a defined area. In ForceVera each site has a geofence, and guards can only clock in and take breaks from the app while they are inside it. Clocking out away from the site is allowed, so no one is stuck on duty, but it is flagged to the admin and supervisors.

Does ForceVera track guards all the time?

No. Location is used only while a guard is on duty, to verify attendance, patrols and geofence alerts. Guards are asked for location permission on their phone first.

Can I export timesheets for payroll?

Yes. Timesheets include hours, breaks and pay rates and export to CSV or Excel for your payroll system.

What if a guard forgets to clock out?

Dispatchers see who is still on duty and can follow up. If the guard clocks out later from somewhere else, the clock-out is flagged as off site, and admins can correct the time entry, with every change recorded in the audit log.

Can hours be billed to clients?

Yes. With client billing, approved hours are multiplied by each client's bill rates to create invoices.
