Client portal explained
Clients of security companies want proof that the service was delivered. Traditionally that meant a weekly email with scanned daily activity reports, or a phone call when something went wrong. A client portal gives them that proof on demand.
A useful portal shows live coverage and recent activity, keeps every report for the client's sites in one searchable place, and lets the client control who in their organisation can see what. Guards' personal details and pay should stay private.
Some portals also show invoices, so the client's accounts team can check the hours they are billed for against the hours worked.
How ForceVera handles it
ForceVera includes a client portal on the Pro and Enterprise plans. Clients see their sites, today's coverage, guards on duty, patrol scans and missed tours, and daily, incident and patrol reports they can download as PDFs. They add their own colleagues with a role and site-by-site access.
Clients never see guards' contact details or pay. Invoices and charges appear in the portal when you use client billing.
